no sound

I've installed a bluetooth adapter (Hewlett Packard bt500) in my laptop and run the installation CD to load all the drivers. I then turned on my SFQ-02 and pressed the pair button. After flashing a couple minutes, a window popped up asking for the code, so I punched in 1234 and received message that connection is successful. I take a look at the bluetooth devices and the Sound Step is listed with no issues requiring attention. When I play music however, it's still coming over my computer speakers, not the SFQ. The bluetooth icon on the SFQ is illuminated. Shouldn't the music be playing over the SFQ now? What else do I have to do?

It sounds like you were able to successfully pair your HP to your SFQ-02 but you still need to select BT as the chosen sound output on your computer. How that is achieved depends on the OS (not sure which one you have) but it is usually set in the System Tray in the bottom right. Hope that helps.
