iPhone 4s and iPad have both been connected (at different times) to SoundFreaq via Bluetooth. Now they are now pairing. Light is flashing on SoundFreaq. "Sound Platform" is selected in list on iPad. Just won't pair.
Thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and I'm sorry to hear your Sound Platform is giving you Bluetooth connectivity issues. Please make sure that your Sound Platform is set to "Bluetooth" for the source when you press the pair button. It will not enter pairing mode if it is not set to Bluetooth for the source. Furthermore, here are two troubleshooting solutions you can try, the first is to forget the device on your iOS devices.
RESETTING THE BLUETOOTH PAIRING ON iOS DEVICES
Turn your Soundfreaq off
On your iOS device go to "Settings > General > Bluetooth"
From the list of devices select the small blue arrow to the right of your Soundfreaq device
Select "Forget this Device"
Turn your iOS device completely off (not just in standby mode)
Turn your iOS device and your Soundfreaq back on
Re-pair your Soundfreaq by first pressing the pair button on your Soundfreaq
Then on your iOS device go to "Settings > General > Bluetooth"
Select Soundfreaq from the list of devices to pair to and after a few seconds your Soundfreaq should be paired and connected to your iOS device
If that does not work, please try the below solution:
RESETTING BLUETOOTH CARTRIDGE ON SOUND PLATFORM
Unplug Sound Platform
Locate the small door on the back of the device on the bottom right along the base
Open the door and slide out the cartridge that says "Do not remove"
Plug in and turn Sound Platform back on
Unplug Sound Platform again and wait 15 seconds
Slide the Bluetooth cartridge back and make sure that it is secure
Turn Sound Platform back on and toggle through sources to confirm that you can select "Bluetooth"
Press the pair button to confirm that the light in front of the dock flashes rapidly indicating that Sound Platform is discoverable and in pair mode
From your Bluetooth devices follow the direction to pair Sound Platform
