charging light on sound kick

I just purchased my sound kick and the instructions state that there is a red charging light when plugged into the AC adapter. I don't have a red light. should I be concerned or take it back?

Matt, thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing charging issues. No light could mean the LED is broken, but the battery is still charging, OR the battery is not holding a charge. Either way, yes, unfortunately we do recommend you exchange your unit at the retailer and letting them know the unit you own is defective.
