Joe,

Thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer. The Sound Kick comes pre-charged so you may enjoy it out of the box, so hence the green light coming on so soon. The 12-hour charge time is the recommended practice to bringing your unit to a complete charge, so that you may enjoy seven hours of wire-free listening. So we do recommend you keeping it plugged in even if the light comes on for the first charge. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Peter, thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and just to clarify, did you get a US plug and you are looking for an Australian plug? Do you have the grey power adapter with the removable plug (detachable from the wall wart/brick)? Or is your power adapter black? Please let us know your address in Australia and we'll have our rep send the correct part right away. Thanks for your patience.

Larry, thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and yes, you are certainly welcome to use the Apple USB plug adapter. It is also fine to leave it plugged in, and to unplug it when you want to take your Spot on the go. Hope that helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Does the Soundfreaq come with a charger? I bought mine today at Wal Mart and all it come with was just the speaker and the audio cord for me to listen to music from my devices. I see the power in spot but I didnt get the cord that goes there?

Zach, thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and the Spot does come with a USB cord. However, it does not come with the USB plug that plugs into the wall outlet. We ask users to either charge via the USB port on their computer, or to use another USB plug that they may already own that came with another electronic device. If you did not receive the USB cord however, please send us a private inquiry with your address so we may send a replacement to you right away.

Hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hello,

I have lost my charger cord for my soundfreaq sound spot. Am i able to charge it with a plain USB cord? If not, how can i buy a new charger for the device?

Thank you,
Anna

Anna, thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and indeed you are able to use any Micro-B USB cable. This cable is shared with many other small electronics on the market today, including Android devices, e-readers, and digital cameras.

Hope that helps! Any other questions, please let us know.
