iPhone 6 not Pairing

Dom Feb 06, 2016 03:07PM CST

Just bought a SOUNDFREAQ and it won't pair w my iPhone6. I see this has been an ongoing issue. It's still not resolved? Should I return it?

Dom, thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing pairing issues with the iPhone 6. Please let us know which model Soundfreaq you purchased by checking the bottom of the speaker.

If you have access to a different smart device, such as an older iPhone or an iPad, please try pairing with that as well to verify whether it is an incompatibility issue with the iPhone 6 or an issue with the Soundfreaq itself.

For troubleshooting records, does the indicator light on the Soundfreaq blink rapidly when you press Pair? Is the issue that "Soundfreaq" never appears under Bluetooth > Devices on the iPhone 6?

Please do let us know your troubleshooting results, and thank you for taking the time to work with us. Any questions, please let us know.

My soundfreaq ... I don't know how to tell what kind it is. It's square and black. It says sound spot. But anyways, my sound spot won't connect to my iPhone 5s. It blinks when I press pair and everything my iPhone keeps telling me that my speaker isn't turned on in range? What dose that mean? And how do I turn it back on in range?

Taly, thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and I understand you own the Sound Spot (you correctly identified the model!). I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing pairing issues with the Soundfreaq--is this a new out of box issue or were you able to connect successfully in the past? If the latter, please let us know how long you've owned the speaker before the issue occurred.

If you have not done so already, please try resetting the connection by removing "Sound Spot" from Bluetooth > Devices on the iPhone before re-pairing from the beginning.

If the issue persists, please email us at support@soundfreaq.com as we may need to replace your speaker all together.

Thank you for your patience, and we apologize for the inconvenience. Any questions, please let us know.
