Just bought this yesterday, clock does not work. Time stays at the time I set it for and never changes. Set it for 7:25 an hour ago and still says 7:25. I even tried changing the battery in it and unplugging it overnight and trying again...

Kevin, thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing clock issues with the new Sound Rise.
Just to verify, were you able to go through all the settings in regards to time and day with the clock? Please see page 13 of the manual here for more instructions: http://userguides.soundfreaq.com/us/sfq-08_user-guide.pdf
The semi colon should be blinking at all times to indicate the clock is working--is the Sound Rise doing that for you?
Please know the battery is back up only, for in case of power outages. It does not affect the workings of the speaker when it is plugged in.
If the issue still persists and the time does not move forward, unfortunately, we do recommend replacing the speaker all together. Any questions, please let us know.
