SOUNDFREAQ Customer Service Ninja
Bobby, thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and I'm sorry to hear the antenna fell apart. Please know that is covered under our manufacturing warranty, and we'd love to send you a replacement antenna.
Please just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your shipping address.
In regards to a booster antenna, we recommend trying a longer antenna such as this: http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-RSA0007-L-ANTENNA-WIRE-FM/dp/B001HNEMG2 A cheaper option is to connect a couple of our in box antennas together (we can send you a couple).
Here is another solution offered by a fellow Soundfreaq user: I stripped off some of the insulation at the end of the antenna wire and connected it to a 300 Ohm to 75 Ohm matching transformer and then connected it to my OTA antenna. The matching transformer I had was an old one I had around which happened to have terminals on it which made it simple. You could use something like this and wrap your antenna wire around one of the leadshttp://www.amazon.com/300-Ohm-UHF-Matching-Transformer/dp/B0002ZPIOG or a combination of http://www.amazon.com/Parts-Express-Push-On-Type-Balun/dp/B0002ZPIOQ/ref=pd_bxgy_e_img_y & http://www.amazon.com/Acoustic-Research-Performance-Female-Connector/dp/B000N7HT86/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1371133970&sr=1-2&keywords=Female+%22F%22+Barrel+Connector
