not connecting

my Sound spot is not connecting; it did when it was new, now I cannot get it to connect with my new smart-phone. Any suggestions? SB

Sylvia, thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing pairing issues with your Spot. Please let us know what smartphone you are using now to pair with the speaker.

When you press Pair on the Spot, does the power indicator light blink rapidly? If so, please turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone. Does "Sound Spot" appear under Bluetooth > Devices? If so, what happens when you select it?

Please let us know where in the pairing process you are running into issues, so we can get you up and running as soon as possible.

My bluetooth adapter in my desktop finds my soundkick but it says offline and I get no sound, any suggestions?

William, thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and I'm sorry to hear you are also experiencing PC pairing issues.

As mentioned above, are you able to connect the Soundfreaq to any smart devices you may have access to, such as a smart phone or tablet? This is to verify whether it is an issue with the speaker itself, or the computer's Bluetooth.

When the computer finds the Sound Kick, is the white indicator light on the front of the speaker blinking? Once it finds it, does the indicator light never turn solid?

Please know the speaker must be in pairing load for a master device (your computer in this case) to find the speaker. To send the speaker into pairing mode, simply tap Pair on the Sound Kick.

If the speaker does connect with other devices, then most likely a driver update needed. If so, we suggest going to the Bluetooth adapter's manufacture site for more information.
