Wendy, thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing audio issues. To better troubleshoot the issue, please let us know which model Soundfreaq you own by checking the bottom of the speaker.
It sounds like your speaker is docked--do you own the SFQ-02L?
If it is indeed docked on the dock adapter, please make sure the source is set to DOCK on the left hand side of the speaker.. If you have access to any other iOS Lightning devices, please try docking those as well to see if the issue persists.
Lastly, please try pairing your iPhone with the Soundfreaq to see if you can play music thus. Again, please make sure the Source is set to Bluetooth on the speaker.
