My Sound Kick box reads that the distance from home device to Sound Kick is 32 ft straight line. At 20 feet straight line it cuts in and out. Can you explain and help? I bought the unit to plan internet music from my MAC to the patio.

SOUNDFREAQ Customer Service Ninja
Art, thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and like most Class 2 Bluetooth devices on the market today, Soundfreaq speakers are designed for a range of 10 meters or 33 feet. However, there are limiting factors like interference from walls and WiFi that shares the same spectrum.
To verify whether it is a defect with the Sound Kick, do you have any other smart devices you may try pairing the Soundfreaq with? I know you are connecting it with your Mac as the master device. We suggest pairing with a smartphone as well to see if the issue persists with choppy audio beyond 20 feet, with no walls or doors in the way. If so, it may be worth replacing your Sound Kick, which we can do so for you, free of charge via mail, under our one year warranty.
Thank you for your patience, and I apologize for the inconvenience. Any questions, please let us know.
