Sound Rise Alarm Clock Stopped Working

Grant Tesdahl Apr 12, 2015 03:40PM CDT

Woke up this morning and my Sound Rise alarm clock no longer showed the time although the back light was still on and was leaking a liquid with a peculiar smell. I put a paper towel under it to mop up any excess liquid and now several hours later the backlight won't even turn on while plugged in. Why is it doing this/can I get it replaced?

Grant, thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing display issues with your Sound Rise. The leakage is especially alarming, and we'd like to get our hands on your unit right away. For now, please unplug the unit and put it aside.

Please send us a private inquiry so we may start collecting your contact information for our warranty replacement process. Please include your address, the serial number located on the bottom of the speaker on a white barcode sticker, and how long you've owned the speaker before the issue occurred. Please also let us know which color Soundfreaq you own, and the model number located on the bottom of the speaker (is it SFQ-08?).

We will email you a prepaid FedEx label for you to return your unit, and we will also send you a replacement unit, free of charge, under our one year warranty.

Thank you for your patience, and I apologize for the inconvenience. Any questions, please let us know.
