Does alarm shut off automatically?

Romulus Sep 03, 2014 03:23PM CDT

I am considering purchasing your Sound Rise alarm clock. I just want to use it as a basic clock radio. Once the alarm has gone off (so the radio is playing) will it turn off (stop playing) automatically after some amount of time? Or does it just keep playing until I manually turn it off?

Romulus, thank you for your interest in Soundfreaq, and unfortunately, the alarm does not turn off automatically until you power off the speaker all together. This occurs whether you have set the radio as the alarm sound or connected a Bluetooth device.

Hope that helps! Any other questions, please let us know.

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately indeed since that's a deal-breaker for me. I hope you will consider adding an automatic shutoff feature in the future, since I really like the design of your product.

Rik, thank you for contacting us, and we've checked our phone lines and we haven't had a break in service--we were able to receive calls on 11/23.

Were you able to call us since? That is indeed our working number, the one you posted.

M-F 8am - 4:30pm CT

Than you for your patience, and I apologize for the inconvenience.

Pleas let me know a non 800 number. I am trying to call from out of the US and for whatever reason, the 800 call is not being put through. Thanks

Rik, we believe certain phone service providers block outgoing calls to 1800 numbers. Unfortunately, we do not have a non-1800 number. May we suggest using an internet phone service such as Skype (costs a fee per min) or Google Hangout/Chat (free for calling US)?

Feel free to also email us at, and we can answer any questions in a timely manner.

I understand you are located outside the US. We may also be able to service your speaker (if it is a speaker related issue) at a closer office.

Thanks again for taking the time to work with us.
