Where's the Sound Step Lightning Recharge???

T Nov 20, 2013 03:14AM CST

Soundfreaq has missed 2 release months when they said the Sound Step Lightning Recharge would be released. After they missed their October release I sent an email asking about when this was coming out, and they didn't even bother to respond. If I'd known the release would be delayed this long (or not coming at all?) I would have just broken down and bought the regular Sound Step Lightning. But I didn't want to buy that and then regret it if they released the Recharge shortly thereafter. C'mon Soundfreaq, how about a definte answer? You could have had a sale long ago, but by not giving us info, I'm still wondering if I'm holding out for a product that may not even be coming out.

Thank you for your interest in Soundfreaq, and we do apologize for the missed release date. The model has been manufactured and distributed worldwide, and we are working on an order for our US customers. We do not have a definitive release date at this time, but we can offer you an exchange free of charge for your 02L once they are available in the US. I have recorded your information and will contact you about the 02RBL as soon as it is available. Hope that helps, and once again I apologize for the frustration we have caused. Please let me know if you have any other questions, and thank you for your patience.

Does Soundfreaq have a Lightning solution for my new Sound Rise NOVO FREAQ that will not require me to purchase additional equipment? My new unit is not currently Lightning compatible.

William, thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and unfortunately, at this time the Sound Rise will not be updated for the Lightning adapter, including the original black and limited edition models. If you'd like to dock an Lightning device, we recommend purchasing the 30-pin to L adapter from Apple. However, please note on the Rise this will block the clock display, so a wire adapter (also from Apple) may be more suitable. We also suggest pairing your device over Bluetooth, and charging it via the USB port on the back of the speaker.

Hope that helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
