Soundfreaq/Kick

Hi, my Kick will no longer play audio when connected to my laptop. It will play when connected to my phone via Bluetooth. I've had the Bluetooth adaptor replaced on the laptop, and it connects to the Kick without issue, but with no audio. Running an HP 4530s laptop, and everything appears to be working on the laptop's end. I've also "forgotten" the Kick and reinstalled/re-paired, to no avail. Ideas?

Jeff, thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and I'm sorry to hear you are having Bluetooth issues with the PC. I understand it used to play audio over Bluetooth fine but no longer does? Because you are able to connect with other devices, it sounds like it is a PC-side issue.

Does your PC recognize "Soundfreaq" under Bluetooth devices but no sound is playing from the Soundfreaq? If so, it sounds like a driver update is necessary for your PC. We don't have a specific driver for Soundfreaq as it uses standard A2DP protocol and the driver is provided by the OS, Bluetooth component manufacturer or computer make. The first thing is to confirm that you have an A2DP compatible Bluetooth component and then check for the latest driver that supports A2DP.
