Soundstep fm radio does not work

Chris Aug 29, 2015 06:24AM CDT

Soundstep SFQ-02, tried both apps on ipad and android devices, and there is NO "source" option available to even play FM radio. So thos has an antenna but no way to play the radio? And the app is virtually useless. Bluetooth works fine.

Chris, thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing app issues in regards to FM playback on the Sound Step.

As you already know, both the FM antenna and the app are required in order to access FM radio. Just to verify, do you own the original SFQ-02, with the 30-pin dock and not the Lightning dock? (Please note for the 02L, the iOS device must be docked in order to access the Source button.)

If so, please make sure you are using the black Soundfreaq Remote app on your smart device. I understand there is no Source button. Are you still able to control playback from your phone via Bluetooth?

The source button will only appear once you are connected via Bluetooth. I understand you have done so already. In that case, first force quit the app. Next, please try removing "Sound Step" from Bluetooth > Devices before re-pairing again, then launching the app again.

If that does not work, repeat but instead of force quitting the app, delete and re-install it all together.

Please let us know your troubleshooting results. Thank you for your patience, and I apologize for the inconvenience. Any questions, please let us know.
