all of a sudden difficulty with skipping

I started having connection issues about a week ago connecting my laptop to my Soundkick. It is skipping all the time and more when actually using the computer. I am using Windows 7 pro 64 bit. This is happening with all laptops but connecting from my phone is better. When I click on BlueTooth devices and I select the soundkick, the lower half of the screen says it is connected but the top part where the icons show my local computer-->BT icon-->soundkick says Disconnected. Any help would be appreciated This is a problem as we use this speaker for work.

Philip, thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing choppy Bluetooth audio on multiple laptops.

If you haven't done so already, please try removing "Sound Kick" from Bluetooth > Devices on the laptop, before re-pairing from the beginning.

I understand the choppiness subsides when connect with the phone. While the audio is "better", do you still hear choppy audio? Or is it completely smooth and plays normally?

If the issue is persisting on multiple laptops that have not been updated, then it is most likely a defect with the Soundfreaq. To verify, we recommend pairing the speaker with multiple smart devices, such as another smartphone or tablet.

If the issue persists, unfortunately we do recommend replacing the speaker all together. Please know we replace speakers free of charge under our one year warranty, via mail, for customers in the US.
