Sound Kick Blue Tooth and iPhone 5

Michelle Aug 03, 2015 10:31AM CDT

I was under the impression that I didn't have to pair my device every time I wanted to use it. I have to go the apple settings/blue tooth. Soundkick is listed in my devices, but it is not connected. I have to select it every time for it to connect. Is there a way around this?

Michelle, thank you for being a Soundfreaq customer, and I'm sorry to hear the Sound Kick is not re-connecting automatically.

You have the right idea--all standard Bluetooth slave devices (the speaker) are designed to connect with the last connected master device (the smart device).

If you have to select it every time under Bluetooth > Devices, then it is a defect with the Soundfreaq, and we recommend replacing the speaker all together.

If you purchased it recently, we recommend exchanging it directly with the retailer for the fastest turnaround time. If that is not possible, or you purchased it through our Online Store, we'll be happy to set up an exchange with you via mail, free of charge under our one year warranty.

Please just send us a private inquiry with your shipping address, the serial number located on the bottom of the speaker on a white barcode sticker, and how long you've owned the speaker.

Thank you for your patience, and I apologize for the inconvenience. Any questions, please let us know.
