Soundspot not working

I bought a soundspot from Target in Spring of 2014. After about a year of only intermittent use, the soundspot volume got weaker and weaker, the battery got weaker and weaker, and now I'm having issues where the bluetooth connectivity doesn't work at all and the speaker will not turn on unless it is plugged in. I can't get it to connect to any of my devices. Is there a way to reset this device, or do I have a $70 electronic brick?
